Midland are an American country music trio known for their polished harmonies, traditional country influences and modern take on the classic Nashville sound. Formed by Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy, the group broke through with a style inspired by honky tonk, country rock and the smooth sounds of the 1970s and 1980s. Their distinctive combination of rich vocals, twang filled guitars and memorable melodies has established Midland as one of the leading acts bringing traditional country influences to contemporary audiences.
The trio achieved widespread recognition with their breakout single "Drinkin' Problem", which became one of their signature songs and introduced their retro influenced sound to an international audience. Albums including On the Rocks, Let It Roll and The Last Resort: Greetings From have expanded their catalogue with songs combining heartbreak, romance, nightlife and life on the road. Their music balances classic country storytelling with sophisticated production and three part harmonies that have become central to the Midland sound.
Live, Midland bring the atmosphere of a Texas honky tonk to concert venues and festival stages, combining laid back charisma with accomplished musicianship and crowd pleasing country songs. Their performances move naturally between emotional ballads, dance ready favourites and singalong moments, giving audiences the opportunity to experience their vocal harmonies and musicianship at full strength. For fans of traditional country, Americana and modern country music, a Midland concert offers an entertaining night rooted in timeless songwriting and genuine country style.
