Mik Artistik EgoTrip are a distinctive live act from Leeds, combining music, comedy, spoken word and surreal observations into performances that resist easy classification. Led by Mik Artistik, the group has developed a devoted following through songs and stories inspired by everyday encounters, unexpected details and the strange humour hidden within ordinary life. Their eccentric approach has made them a memorable presence on the British festival and grassroots music circuit.
Rather than following conventional ideas about what a band should be, Mik Artistik EgoTrip move freely between musical performance and spontaneous entertainment. Songs can become stories, stories can become jokes and seemingly mundane subjects can be transformed into memorable pieces of live theatre. This unpredictability is central to their identity and gives the group an appeal that stretches beyond traditional rock, comedy or spoken word audiences.
A Mik Artistik EgoTrip show is best experienced live, where improvisation, audience interaction and Mik's unique stage personality can make each performance feel different. The combination of musicianship, absurd humour and unexpected storytelling creates an atmosphere where audiences never quite know what is coming next. For anyone looking for an unconventional night of British live entertainment, Mik Artistik EgoTrip offer a show filled with personality, laughter and wonderfully unusual songs.
