MOZEY is the stage name of Michael Hitches, a drum and bass DJ and producer from Essex. Known for energetic selections and bass-heavy productions, he draws on a long-standing connection to the UK dance music scene. His work is rooted in the rhythms of drum and bass, with a style that has found a place in clubs and at dance music events.
After discovering drum and bass through London's underground raves, MOZEY developed his own music and became associated with Serum's Souped Up label. His productions have reached electronic music audiences through DJ sets, releases and radio appearances. As both a producer and DJ, he brings together his own tracks with a wider appreciation of the music that inspired him.
MOZEY performs at drum and bass events, bringing his selections to club and festival audiences. His sets offer listeners the chance to experience the energy of the genre in a live setting, with fast rhythms and powerful bass at the centre of the music. For fans of drum and bass and electronic dance music, a MOZEY performance is an opportunity to hear his sound on the dancefloor.
