Heralded as "Ireland's next noise rock heroes" by Hot Press Magazine, Naked Lungs are an enigmatic Irish four-piece noise-punk band set to take on 2023 with the release of their debut album "Doomscroll".
2022 saw the band release several singles and a caustic, self-titled EP that garnered international support with repeated plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, international independent radio and a shoutout from Anthony Fantano of The Needle Drop. They followed up with a year of high profile gigs at home and abroad including several sold-out Irish headlines, two sold out Therapy? supports, a successful headline UK tour and an Irish / UK festival run.
This year, the band have already been named as one of NME's "100 for 2023", a list of artists they believe are set to take off in the coming year. They were summarised as "Doom-ridden noise punk that sounds like Trent Reznor's been on the Guinness".
The band is set to release their debut album "Doomscroll" in August and will be completing a UK Tour in September / October.
