Once Twice is electronic musicians from London. Following years of releasing their music discreetly to their friends on the internet, in April 2024 they will release their first official single ‘Deep Breath’. Once Twice came into being in 2021. It clawed its way out from the twisted undergrowth of the leafless tree in that field nearby and was blinded by its new surroundings. It egressed to a dark shed filled with buttons and wires laid bare before it. The corner of that shed housed more eyes than clouds in the sky. They tapped buttons, pressed keys, turned dials to form drums, synths and broken vocals. An enticing electronic darkness filled their temple, harmonic sounds that sound nice and sometimes scary. The vibrations spread far and wide, pulsing along the roots that grew themselves deep into the ground. If you listen closely in the darkest hours, you may feel a rhythm from the rotting undergrowth, and you will dance.
