Poolside is an American nu-disco and chillwave band originating from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2011 by Jeffrey Paradise and Filip Nikolic. After Nikolic's departure in 2017, Paradise continued the project with a rotating lineup of additional members for live performances. The band is known for their unique brand of "daytime disco," characterized by relaxed beats, smooth vocals, and lush electronics. They gained recognition with their debut single "Do You Believe" in 2011 and subsequently released their debut album "Pacific Standard Time" in 2012, which received critical acclaim. Their second album, "Heat," was released in 2017, followed by "Low Season" in 2020 and its companion album "High Season" in 2021. In 2023, Poolside released "Blame It All On Love," their debut album on Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records, featuring collaborations with various artists.
