Priory Blues Band bring the enduring sound of the blues to the stage, drawing on a musical tradition built around expressive vocals, memorable guitar playing and rhythm driven performances. Rooted in a genre that has influenced generations of rock, soul and popular music artists, the band offer audiences the opportunity to experience the directness and emotional character that make blues music such a powerful live experience.

The appeal of Priory Blues Band lies in the interaction between musicians, where guitar, rhythm and vocals can develop naturally throughout a performance. Blues has always allowed performers space for interpretation and improvisation, giving familiar musical ideas a fresh character whenever they are played live and creating a connection between the musicians and the audience.

In concert, Priory Blues Band offer a setting where the warmth and spontaneity of live blues can take centre stage. Whether you are a dedicated blues listener or simply enjoy guitar led live music, their performances provide an opportunity to experience a style defined by groove, feeling and musicianship in the environment where it has always thrived, the live stage.
