Putan Club are an Italian-French experimental music duo made up of Gianna Greco and François R. Cambuzat. Their music brings together bass, guitar, vocals and electronics, drawing on influences that range from rock and techno to jazz, metal and avant-garde music. Working across musical boundaries, the pair create a sound shaped by rhythm, electronic textures and amplified instruments.
Greco performs on bass and vocals alongside effects and electronics, while Cambuzat combines guitar and vocals with electronic elements. Putan Club describe their work as open to a wide range of styles, using the duo format to explore different sounds and approaches. Their music brings the immediacy of a rock performance together with the possibilities of electronic production.
Putan Club have taken their music to venues and festivals across Europe, developing their work through live performance. Their shows give audiences the chance to experience the interaction between the two musicians, from bass and guitar to voices and electronics. For listeners interested in experimental rock and electronic music, the duo offer a performance that moves between genres.
