Quivers are an Australian indie rock band known for their melodic guitar pop, vocal harmonies and thoughtful songwriting. Formed in Hobart and based in Melbourne, the group combine jangling guitars with lyrics that explore love, change and the passing of time. Their music balances reflective themes with the warmth and energy of a band playing together.
The band's releases include We'll Go Riding on the Hearses and Golden Doubt, followed by Oyster Cuts in 2024. Their third album and first for Merge Records, Oyster Cuts brought their melodic songwriting to a wider international audience. Quivers followed it with the single Bottle the Nervous, introducing a line-up featuring Sam Nicholson alongside drummer Shauna Boyle and bassist Thomas Skalicky.
Quivers have toured across Australia, Europe and North America, performing headline shows and sharing stages with fellow indie rock artists. Their live appearances have also included sessions for Seattle radio station KEXP. For fans of guitar-led indie pop, their concerts offer the chance to hear the harmonies, melodies and songs from across the band's catalogue in person.
