Ripe are an American band known for an energetic combination of pop, funk, rock and danceable grooves, creating music built around bright melodies, powerful rhythms and an infectious sense of movement. Formed by musicians who met while studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, the group developed its following through live performances, turning a reputation for high energy shows into a growing catalogue of polished and upbeat songs.
Albums including Joy in the Wild Unknown and Bright Blues demonstrate Ripe's ability to blend funk inspired musicianship with accessible pop songwriting. Their music features driving bass, rhythmic guitars, vibrant brass and expressive vocals, resulting in songs that can move naturally between soulful passages and large, celebratory choruses. Years of touring have helped establish the live stage as an important part of the band's identity.
Ripe concerts are designed around momentum, musicianship and the shared energy of a crowd. Their combination of funk rhythms and pop hooks gives audiences plenty of opportunities to dance, while the band's instrumental arrangements add the excitement of watching accomplished musicians perform together in real time. For fans of upbeat alternative pop, funk and groove driven live music, a Ripe concert offers a colourful, energetic night built to keep the audience moving.
