Silver Bars are an indie rock band from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Formed in 2019, the five-piece combine guitar melodies, keyboards and energetic rhythms with reflective songwriting. Their music draws on British indie rock while bringing together bright hooks and lyrics that explore more introspective subjects.
The band's releases include The Morning, The Long Night and Headwind. Through a series of singles and EPs, Silver Bars have explored different sides of their sound, from melodic indie songs to heavier guitar-led material. Their arrangements bring together vocals, guitars, bass, drums and keys, giving the group room to develop their ideas across each release.
Silver Bars have performed at festivals including Kendal Calling and Y Not, as well as supporting artists such as Jake Bugg and The Royston Club. Their live shows offer audiences the chance to hear their songs performed by the full band. For fans of melodic indie rock, Silver Bars bring their Cumbrian roots and original music to stages around the UK.
