Simon Evans is Staring at the Sun brings the acclaimed British comedian back to the stage with another live show shaped by his articulate delivery and carefully constructed observations. Simon Evans has established a long career in British comedy through stand up, radio and television, earning recognition for a style that combines sharp language, social observation and a distinctive onstage presence.
Evans is known for examining contemporary life through a thoughtful and frequently sceptical comic perspective. Staring at the Sun continues his tradition of building a full length show around ideas as well as punchlines.
Seeing Simon Evans live gives audiences the opportunity to experience his precise timing and carefully developed material in the environment for which it was created. His measured delivery allows arguments and jokes to develop gradually before reaching their comic payoff. For followers of intelligent observational stand up, Simon Evans is Staring at the Sun offers an evening of polished comedy from an experienced British performer.
