Spiers And Boden are the acclaimed English folk duo of John Spiers and Jon Boden, musicians whose energetic approach to traditional music has made them influential figures in the modern British folk scene. Combining Spiers' distinctive melodeon playing with Boden's vocals and fiddle, the duo create performances rooted in English traditional music while bringing their own personality, arrangements and musical imagination to the material.

After forming in the early 2000s, Spiers And Boden gained recognition through albums, extensive touring and their ability to make traditional songs and tunes feel immediate to contemporary audiences. Both musicians also became founding members of the celebrated folk ensemble Bellowhead, further expanding their influence on the revival of English folk music. Their work as a duo allows the detailed interplay between their instruments and voices to remain at the heart of the music.

Spiers And Boden concerts combine accomplished musicianship with the spontaneity and warmth that make folk music particularly effective in a live setting. Traditional songs, instrumental tunes and lively arrangements create performances capable of moving between intimate storytelling and exhilarating rhythmic passages. For dedicated folk followers and newcomers interested in discovering English traditional music, seeing Spiers And Boden live offers a chance to experience two leading musicians with a natural and engaging musical partnership.
