SWEET GIANT are a folk-rock collective whose music brings together guitar-driven rock, alternative songwriting and folk influences. Fronted by Annie Needham, the group combine a raw approach to performance with songs that move between quieter moments and a fuller band sound. Their work draws on both the storytelling traditions of folk and the energy of alternative rock.
The band's releases include the EP 'Til You're Blue and singles Changing Shape and Waiting for My Man. Their debut album Show Teeth continues their exploration of folk and rock, bringing together the different influences present in their songwriting. Formed by Needham and childhood collaborator Nick Morgan, SWEET GIANT have developed their music through recordings and live performances.
SWEET GIANT have toured in the UK and Europe and supported acts including Ash and Black Foxxes. Their live shows bring the collective's guitar-led songs to audiences in venues and at festivals. For fans of alternative folk and rock, the band offer the chance to hear their blend of melody, storytelling and full-band arrangements on stage.
