The Amazons are a British rock band from Reading, Berkshire, formed in 2014 and known for delivering melodic, arena ready alternative rock. The trio of Matt Thomson on vocals and guitar, Chris Alderton on guitar, and Elliot Briggs on bass debuted with their self titled album in 2017, which reached the Top 10 on the UK Albums Chart and introduced their signature sound marked by riffs and sweeping choruses.
Building on that momentum, they released their third album How Will I Know if Heaven Will Find Me in 2022, before unveiling their bold and introspective fourth album 21st Century Fiction in May 2025. Lead single Night After Night reflected their evolving creative ambition and was followed by a major autumn UK tour that included headline shows at iconic venues such as London’s Roundhouse and Manchester’s Albert Hall.
