Hailing from Liverpool, England, The Cheap Thrills emerged onto the indie rock scene in 2010, born out of the Walton area of the city by schoolmates Anton Eager and Callum Fitzpatrick. Joined by Terry Eaves and Lewis Pike, the band solidified its lineup and embarked on a musical journey that would see them rise to prominence.

Their first notable appearances came in 2012 at Kendal Calling Festival and Liverpool Sound City, setting the stage for their ascent. Recognized as one of The Guardian's Breaking Bands in 2013, The Cheap Thrills spent the next five years touring and sharing stages with established acts like Cast, Jamie Webster, and DMA's.

In 2017, the band inked a deal with Eighties Vinyl Records, marking a turning point in their career. Their debut 7" EP, "Glare," garnered critical acclaim from Gigwise and Rough Trade USA, while a limited edition cassette version found its way to fans courtesy of Blak Hand Records.

The following year saw The Cheap Thrills enter into a management deal with End Of The Trail Creative, leading to the release of the single "Sentimentality" and their first national radio play on BBC Radio 6 Music. "Codependence" followed suit, earning recognition as one of Louder Than War's tracks of the year.

In 2019, the band reached new heights with the release of their EP "Vue Du Monde," which received widespread radio play and solidified their place in the indie rock scene. Their journey took them to esteemed festivals like BBC 6 Music Festival, The Great Escape, and Liverpool International Music Festival, culminating in their US debut at New Colossus Festival in New York City in March 2020.

Beyond the music, The Cheap Thrills found themselves intertwined with the world of sports, as their track "Codependence" became the soundtrack for Liverpool Football Club's 2022/2023 European kit campaign, resonating with fans across the globe.

Their achievements were recognized in 2022 when they were awarded the prestigious Liverpool Band of The Year Award by Sound Music Group, cementing their status as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
