The Frank & Walters Acoustic presents the songs of acclaimed Irish indie band The Frank & Walters in an intimate acoustic setting. Formed in Cork, the band became an important part of the Irish alternative music scene, developing a devoted following through melodic songwriting, distinctive vocals and a catalogue filled with warmth, humour and emotional honesty.
The Frank & Walters are particularly associated with songs such as "After All", which became one of their best known recordings and remains a favourite among indie music audiences. Across a career spanning decades, the band have continued to write, record and perform, maintaining the melodic character and individuality that established their reputation during the flourishing alternative scene of the 1990s.
In an acoustic performance, familiar songs can reveal a different side of the band's songwriting. Stripped of heavier arrangements, melodies, lyrics and vocal harmonies move to the foreground, creating a closer connection between performers and audience. For longtime followers and fans of melodic Irish indie music, The Frank & Walters Acoustic offers a warm and intimate way to revisit a much loved catalogue.
