The Sting-Rays / Coyote Men / Galloping Dick brings together three acts for a night rooted in garage rock, punk attitude, rock and roll and underground music culture. Headlined by The Sting-Rays, the bill offers an energetic combination of raw guitars, driving rhythms and stripped back rock music designed for audiences who prefer their live shows loud, direct and close to the action.
The Sting-Rays emerged from the British underground scene in the 1980s, developing a sound influenced by garage rock, rockabilly and punk. Their energetic approach placed them within a generation of bands rediscovering the primitive excitement of early rock and roll while adding the speed and attitude of contemporary independent music. Coyote Men and Galloping Dick add further underground character to the lineup.
Together, the three acts create a bill aimed at fans of cult rock and roll rather than polished mainstream production. A club setting allows the distorted guitars, fast rhythms and physical energy of the music to hit with maximum impact. For garage rock enthusiasts and audiences interested in the wilder edges of British independent music, this triple lineup offers a concentrated night of live rock and roll.
