The Subways - concerts, tours, tickets, news and reviews.
The Subways came together in Welwyn Garden City when brothers Billy Lunn and Josh Morgan (don't let the different surnames confuse you!) began playing Nirvana, Green Day and classic punk covers. Teaming up with Lunn's then girlfriend Charlotte Cooper, the band got their break when Michael Eavis handpicked them to play Glastonbury's Other Stage.
Camille Phillips has taken over on drums, following the departure of founding drummer Josh Morgan, who left the band in October 2020.
In summer 2005, The Subways released their debut,
Young for Eternity. Second album,
All or Nothing followed in 2008. Their third album
Money and Celebrity came in 2011, while the band's self-titled fourth album was released in 2015. Their latest album,
Uncertain Joys was released on Friday 13 January 2023.
