Tijs Michiel Verwest, professionally known as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer acclaimed as one of the greatest DJs of all time. He gained prominence in the early 2000s with his solo albums and collaborations, earning numerous awards including a Grammy. Born on January 17, 1969, in Breda, North Brabant, Tiësto's passion for music emerged at a young age, leading him to DJ professionally at school parties by age fourteen. Renowned for his electrifying live performances, Tiësto has held the title of "No. 1 DJ in the World" for three consecutive years and has received prestigious honors such as the Grammy Award and the Order of Orange-Nassau. In recent years, he has continued to release hit songs and albums, with his latest album "Drive" released in April 2023. Despite being scheduled to perform at Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, Tiësto canceled his appearance due to a family emergency.
