Till Lindemann is a German musician, poet, and actor, best known as the lead vocalist and frontman of the industrial metal band Rammstein. He was born on January 4, 1963, in Leipzig, East Germany. Lindemann's musical career began in 1994 when he formed Rammstein with several other musicians. The band quickly gained popularity for their controversial and provocative performances, which often featured pyrotechnics, explicit lyrics, and other shocking elements. In addition to his work with Rammstein, Lindemann has also released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists, including Peter Tägtgren of the metal bands Hypocrisy and Pain. Lindemann's solo work often incorporates elements of electronic and industrial music, as well as spoken-word poetry. Lindemann is also a published poet and has released several books of poetry in both German and English. In 2021, he published his autobiography, "In The Quiet Hours", which details his upbringing in East Germany, his musical career, and his personal life.
