Tony Mortimer is a British singer, songwriter and musician best known as a founding member of East 17, one of the most successful British pop groups of the 1990s. Born in London, Mortimer played a central role in shaping the group's distinctive combination of pop, dance and hip hop influences. His songwriting helped East 17 stand apart from many of their contemporaries, producing memorable songs that became an important part of the soundtrack to British pop music during the decade.

As the principal songwriter behind many of East 17's biggest hits, Tony Mortimer wrote songs including "House of Love", "It's Alright" and the Christmas classic "Stay Another Day". The latter reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and remains one of the group's most recognisable recordings. Beyond East 17, Mortimer has continued to work on music and songwriting, maintaining a connection with audiences who grew up with his songs while introducing his work to new generations of pop fans.

Live, Tony Mortimer offers audiences the opportunity to revisit a catalogue closely connected with the golden era of 1990s British pop. His performances combine nostalgia with the experience of hearing familiar songs directly from the songwriter responsible for creating them. For longtime East 17 followers and fans of classic UK pop, seeing Tony Mortimer live provides a chance to celebrate memorable hits, songwriting and more than three decades of musical history.
