Young Rebel Set are a British band from Stockton on Tees known for heartfelt songwriting that brings together folk, indie rock and Americana influences. Emerging at the end of the 2000s, the group developed a devoted following through emotionally direct songs, memorable melodies and performances rooted in the storytelling traditions of folk and alternative guitar music.
The band's catalogue includes albums such as Curse Our Love and Crocodile, with songs exploring love, loss, hope and the realities of everyday life. Young Rebel Set built their reputation through music that favours emotional honesty over unnecessary polish, creating an identity that resonates with listeners drawn to passionate vocals, acoustic textures and anthemic indie songwriting.
Live, Young Rebel Set bring the emotional character of their songs into a communal setting where intimate verses can develop into powerful singalong moments. Their combination of folk influenced storytelling and energetic guitar music makes the material particularly effective on stage. For fans of heartfelt British indie and Americana inspired songwriting, a Young Rebel Set concert offers an opportunity to reconnect with a distinctive and much loved catalogue.
