Anvil Arts is the largest performing arts organisation in Hampshire, and runs The Anvil, The Haymarket and The Forge in Basingstoke.
The Autumn programme brings a wave of excitement with great entertainment from all points of the artistic compass. At The Anvil, the incredible Cirque du Ciel will astound you, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony will inspire you, Music Theatre Wales will intrigue you, and our great line up of comedians will leave you laughing. There's music royalty in the form of Don McLean and Joan Armatrading, queens of folk June Tabor and Kate Rusby, and king of Hollywood Sir Roger Moore.
At The Haymarket, we welcome Michael Morpurgo's Farm Boy, the sequel to War Horse, followed by the thriller Dead Ringer. The stage is graced by Miriam Margoyles, Patricia Routledge, and Andrew Motion, before the Jane Austen classic Mansfield Park. Enjoy the Victorian japes of Three Men In A Boat and the acid-drop hilarity of Alan Ayckbourn's Season's Greetings.
For younger children, Charlie and Lola's Best Bestest Play is a surefire winner, while this year's family pantomime at The Anvil is the ever-popular Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
