The Corn Exchange is approximately a 20 minute walk from the train station. Upon leaving the station go straight down Station Road and turn right onto Hills Road. Walk down Hills Road which leads on to Regent Street. Turn left into Downing Street, and then turn right after the Crowne Plaza hotel onto Corn Exchange Street. The Corn Exchange is at the bottom of this street.

Grand Arcade Car Park
This is just a couple of minutes away, across the road from the Corn Exchange.
Did you know Grand Arcade Car Park now offers the Option to pre pay? This is a quick and more convenient way to pay for parking within the Grand Arcade car park, avoiding having to queue upon your return to your vehicle.
Simply park your car and take your ticket to the nearest machine. Then follow the step-by-step instructions on the touch screen monitor.
Select the Pre pay in advance option Select + or - for the anticipated time of stay Select O.K. to confirm Total amount payable will appear on the top of the screen Insert the correct amount and retain your ticket. (On return to the vehicle go directly to your vehicle and drive to the exit). If you return to your vehicle after time of expiry, this facility will enable you to make up the difference on your return by inserting your ticket in the machine and paying the difference. This facility is currently only available at Grand Arcade car park after 5.00pm.
Park Street Car Park
This is no more than a 5 to 10 minute walk out of the car park straight down Trinity Street into Kings Parade, left into Benet Street and on into Wheeler Street.
Queen Anne Car Park
Slightly further away but again no more than a 10 minute walk is Queen Anne Car Park in Gonville Place. This car park is cheaper than Grand Arcade, so if you can manage the walk then it's probably worth it.
To get to the Corn Exchange from here head out of the car park, down Regent's Terrace (runs alongside the big green space called Parker's Piece) into Regent Street, left into Downing Street and right into Corn Exchange Street.

Where you would like a companion to sit - either alongside you or behind you. If you wish to sit in one of the boxes during a normal seated show. Whether you require assistance if you are visually impaired. Whether you wish to have your guide dog in the auditorium with you during the performance or taken care of by a member of staff. If you require appropriate seating for a sign-interpreted performance. The configuration of your wheelchair. For example, is it wider than standard? Is the horizontal length greater than the standard?

Strobe Lights
Signs are always displayed on the night of a show when strobe lighting is in use. Information can be obtained by calling in advance on 01223 457555.
Wheelchair Users
The Corn Exchange has ramped access at the front of the building from street level with an automatic door opener. This allows wheelchair users direct access to the foyer and cafe area.
Six wheelchair spaces for registered disabled and six seats for accompanying persons are provided in the auditorium. These are best accessible via door B (in Parson's Court) and are offered at half price.
There are additional wheelchair spaces in the first floor boxes (subject to availability) adjacent to the St John's Bar. These are accessible via the platform lift which is located next to door B.
If you prefer to sit in an auditorium seat rather than remain in your wheelchair, the stewarding staff will be happy to help you both before and after the performance. We will store your wheelchair near your seat. Please inform the box office when booking your tickets whether you wish to sit in an auditorium seat or remain in your wheelchair.
At shows where there is a standing audience at ground level in the auditorium, we recommend that wheelchair users book a seat in one of the two upstairs boxes - priority is given to customers in wheelchairs for these performances, but customers are advised to book early.
The Corn Exchange has a manual wheelchair available to assist any customers who have difficulty walking and we can arrange for a member of staff to meet you when you arrive at the venue. Please telephone 01223 457555 in advance to arrange this.
Stewards are also on hand to assist by purchasing interval drinks or refreshments should disabled customers wish them to do so.
Toilets
There is an adapted toilet accessible to wheelchair users at both doors to the venue. The toilets are on the same level as the auditorium.
First floor and Boxes
A platform lift designed specifically for disabled people is available to allow wheelchair access to the first floor St John's Bar and boxes.The lift has an automatic door and can be operated by the person in the wheelchair. A steward is also on hand to assist if necessary.
The St John's Bar features a lowered bar section to enable wheelchair users to buy drinks with ease. The two boxes overlooking the auditorium have lowered safety rails allowing for a good view when looking at the stage. For safety reasons clear safety glass is also used.
Backstage
There is direct level access to the stage via a side entrance. Whilst there are no permanent dressing rooms at stage level arrangements can be made to provide this.

Vision Impairments
Three seats for registered blind people and three accompanying seats are offered at half price (subject to availability). These seats are held near the front until one week before the show, but people are entitled to sit in any part of the auditorium they choose.
For standing shows there are no seats on the ground floor of the auditorium. If you need assistance getting to the balcony or box please inform box office of your requirements when making your booking.
All signs in the Corn Exchange have been produced in consultation with Cambridgeshire Society for the Blind and Partially Sighted, to assist patrons who are visually impaired.
Hearing Impairments
There is an infra-red hearing enhancement system which can be used with or without a hearing aid. To use the system you can obtain a receiver and headphones or loop from the duty manager free of charge for the duration of the show.
Please leave your ticket stub with your name and address as a deposit for the use of the hearing enhancement unit. Although coverage throughout the auditorium is good, please advise the box office when booking that you wish to use the infra-red system and they will try to give you seats in an area with the best reception.

Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are always welcome at the Corn Exchange. If you wish to take your dog into the auditorium please make this known when booking so that suitable seats can be allocated on the aisle or on a row facing an aisle.
If you prefer, a member of staff will dog-sit and provide water in the foyer, ensuring that your dog is well looked after.
