Re-opened (again) and this little club hasnt changed. Its how every rock club should be, Black walls, Mirrors a loyal (and friendly) following and a refusal to play anything other than true rock and metal. It makes no apologies for being anything other than a haven for Cheltenham, Gloucester and surrounding towns rock clientele and its been that way for over 40 years (it is reported that Jimi Hendrix and Cream both played here in the past). This small club does struggle to keep its doors open in the long term due to its niche community but it continues to close and re-open on a fairly regular basis. At one of its many peaks in the mid nineties it wasnt unusual to discover people in the club who had travelled from Birmingham and Devon to find a night of all the right tunes. Most nights see a mixture of old and modern rock, Glam, metal and industrial tunes being played with specialist nights for more extreme types. If ever you get the chance you must visit this place as its not just an institution to its customers its part of their lives!
