RMV combi ticket Admission tickets (excluding complimentary tickets) for public events in the Festhalle are 'combi tickets', They entitle visitors to use the entire RMV transportation network to and from Messe Frankfurt free of charge. The journey to the Festhalle may not be commenced earlier than three hours before the start of the event; return until services end. 1st class only on payment of a supplement. The RMV terms of transport and fares apply. This does not apply to free and honorary tickets.
By train Frankfurt is easy to reach by public transport. Almost all long distance and express trains, from IC to ICE stop at Frankfurt's main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), from where it is only a short walk to the Festhalle.
By suburban train (S-Bahn) If you come by suburban train (S-Bahn), take lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 8 to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), from where you have the choice: by foot in 10 minutes or by tram 16 or 19 straight to the Festhalle. By Underground (U-Bahn) The U-4 from the central station will take you to the City entrance station in less than 5 minutes. (route to Bockenheimer Warte)
By tram Leave the station building through the main exit and cross over the station square until you get to the tram stop. Tram lines 16 and 17 will take you from here to the Festhalle Messe Frankfurt, as will any special trams that might be running (V Lines). The third stop is "Festhalle/Messe".
By bus Routes 32 and 50 stop in front of the Festhalle. On foot from the central railway station Leave the station building through the north exit and keep walking straight on across Düsseldorfer Strasse, the Platz der Republik and the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage until you come to the fair grounds. The most important orientation point in this case is the trade fair tower with its pyramid-shaped tip. Only a few steps farther on is the "Entrance City". If you walk past the "Entrance-City" to the left and turn right at the end of Hall 1, you will come to the "South-Entrance Festhalle" on the Hemmerichsweg.

How to get to Frankfurt Take autobahn A 3 if arriving from the direction Köln-Koblenz, or the A 5 if arriving from Hamburg-Hannover-Kassel; the Ruhr District is connected via the A 45. In east-west direction, the most important connections are the A 3 (München Würzburg) and the A 66 (Fulda) and from the south, the A 5 (Basel Karlsruhe) and A 67 (from Darmstadt). Travelling from the west, the A 60 (Bingen-Mainz) and A 66 (Wiesbaden) will lead you to Frankfurt.
How to get to the Festhalle Messe Frankfurt The direct route to the Festhalle Messe Frankfurt runs from the autobahn junction "Westkreuz Frankfurt". From here, follow the signs "Stadtmitte" until you reach the multistorey car parks "Messeturm", "Maritim" or "Marriott".Travelling from Frankfurt, follow the signs "Messe" until you reach the Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage. Once you get there, you should head for the multistorey car parks "Messeturm" (from 5 p.m - 2 p.m. flat fee 13 Euro) , "Marriott", "Maritim" or "Mövenpick" (2.90 per hour).
Note for the disabled: Disabled drivers are allowed to park in front of the Festhalle.
The direct route to the Festhalle Messe Frankfurt runs from the motorway junction "Westkreuz Frankfurt" to the A 648 direction “Stadtmitte (city center)”. Exit at Bockenheim/Rödelheim/Messe, take in the following roundabout the second exit and follow the signs “Tor Nord”. Keep to the right on the bridge and approach gate “Tor Nord”. At the gate you will receive a parking ticket. After approaching the fair grounds keep right, drive under the bridge straight to the Festhalle. .The security personnel will guide you to the entrance.
