The Palace Theatre, Manchester, is one of the main theatres in Manchester, England. It is situated on Oxford Street, on the north-east corner of the intersection with Whitworth Street. The Palace and its 'sister' theatre the Manchester Opera House on Quay Street are operated by the same parent company, Ambassador Theatre Group. The original capacity of 3,675 has since been reduced to its current 1,955
Accessibility
There are four wheelchair spaces available in the Circle level, with lift access from the foyer to this level. The Box Office has low level counters and accessible levels for transactions.
The Palace Theatre now offers a Hearing Loop System for the deaf and hard and hearing. A £10.00 deposit is required per headset (this will be refunded upon return of the headset).
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome at the Palace Theatre and they can stay with you while you are in the Theatre. If you wish to bring your guide or hearing dog to the Theatre, please advise the Box Office when booking your tickets and a seat next to the aisle will be reserved for you. Alternatively a member of staff will care for your dog during the performance. We can also provide drinking water for your dog.
