The nearest rail station is Stevenage, two miles Knebworth Park. There is a taxi rank at the station. Non-stop Inter-City and local services run to Stevenage station from London's Kings Cross station around every 30 minutes. There are also frequent Inter-City connections on the East Coast main line from Cambridge, York, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Knebworth House & Park are accessed direct from the Junction 7 roundabout of the A1(M) motorway at Stevenage South, 29 miles north of London. There are signs on both carriageways of the motorway.

If you are using a Sat Nav system use the post code of the Stevenage Novotel at Junction 7 - SG1 2AX - not the Knebworth House post code.

Car Parking: There is ample and free car parking within Knebworth Park during our published open times.

There are two main car parks:

The Adventure Playground field on your right as you enter the Park through the flag poles. Visitors are welcome to drive up to the low fencing around the playground and park close to the play area offering both easy access and views of the play area. Please note that you will be driving across an uneven field. To the left of Knebworth Fort at the playground is a disabled designated car parking area.

Located at the entrance to the formal gardens, gift shop, public toilets and Garden Terrace Tea Room. There is dedicated disabled parking which is clearly signposted closest to the entrance and toilets. The surface of the car park is gravel.
