How to get here by rail Ulverston Railway station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the theatre.
By road
How to get here by Car The Hall is situated adjacent to the A590 trunk road which runs through Ulverston.
Take junction 36 off the M6 motorway, travel along the A590 for approximately 23 miles. As you enter Ulverston you will see a Booths Supermarket, continue along the main road and across another roundabout to a set of traffic lights. Coronation Hall is on your right hand side. Turn right at the lights and around the small roundabout. You can drop off directly outside the front entrance to the theatre and/or continue to a car park.

Car Parking Town centre car parks are well sign-posted, situated nearby, free after 6pm and within easy walking distance. The Tourist Information Centre (TIC) can give you more details or you can find out more from the Car Parking Pages on the South Lakeland District Council website.

Venue
Coronation Hall is one of the principal buildings in Ulverston and has the largest capacity of any hall in the south Cumbria area.
It is owned, operated and maintained by South Lakeland District Council and offers excellent entertainment including performances by highly acclaimed touring companies in the fields of music, theatre, ballet and opera, as well as providing a lively community venue.
Over recent years this impressive building, affectionately called "The Coro", has received substantial funding from South Lakeland District Council and the National Lottery for a programme of extensive refurbishment of the hall's interior, including the dressing rooms, and exterior.
Accessibility
The Building Coronation Hall is situated in the middle of town at street level – it is not accessed by steps.

Guide Dogs Guide dogs are permitted in all public areas of the Coronation Hall, and are allowed in the auditorium. They can stay with their owner throughout a performance, however please advise the box office staff when making your booking and ask for an aisle seat.

Lift A lift is available for access to the upstairs supper room and bar. If you need assistance please ask a member of staff or a steward.
Loop System There is a loop system in the Supper Room and the Main Hall which can be used during performances. The type of show determines whether the loop system is in use. If you wish to use the loop system please check with the box office prior to purchasing tickets.

Wheel chair access The main part of the building including the main hall auditorium is easily accessible by wheelchair. The upstairs Supper room and bar can be accessed via a lift; see above. The balcony cannot be accessed by wheelchair.
