Public transport
By Train: The Old Market is 1 mile from Brighton station and 1.3 miles from Hove station. Southern Railway and First Capital Connect operate from both stations, providing connections with London and the South. To walk from Brighton station, head south to the Clocktower, then turn right down Western road and follow the directions above. A taxi from either station should take around 5-10 minutes, and cost approximately £5.00-7.00.
By Bus: Numerous services from across Brighton, Hove and further afield stop just around the corner from The Old Market. Arriving from Brighton, alight at Brunswick square and walk back towards Brighton. Arriving from Hove, alight at the Co-Op Supermarket, and walk back towards Hove. Services include: 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 20X, 24, 25, 46, 49, 49A, 81 or (at night time) N25.
Parking
We are located in a residential area, and parking in the roads directly surrounding us is therefore limited. For the closest on-street parking, we recommend using the Pay & Display on the seafront (Kingsway, beside Hove Lawns), which is a 2-3 minute walk from us (follow walking directions from the seafront, above). This costs £3.50/hour, but enforcement ends at 8:00pm, so for an evening show you’ll only need one hour. Alternatively, for off-street parking, NCP Regency Square offers secure parking, but is a 10 minute walk along the seafront. A full evening here costs £4.50.
