Back From The Grave: CBGB's All Nighter celebrates the raw sound, rebellious attitude and underground energy associated with one of the most influential venues in rock history. CBGB became synonymous with the rise of punk and alternative music in New York City, providing an early home for artists who would transform the direction of popular music. This all nighter taps into that legacy with an event built for audiences who prefer their rock loud, direct and uncompromising.
The original CBGB scene became closely associated with punk, rock and new wave, helping provide a platform for bands including Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads and Television. Its influence travelled far beyond New York, inspiring generations of musicians and independent venues around the world. Back From The Grave: CBGB's All Nighter draws upon that history and the enduring appeal of music created outside the mainstream.
The live setting is the natural home for this music, where distorted guitars, driving rhythms and an energetic crowd can recreate some of the urgency associated with underground rock culture. Back From The Grave: CBGB's All Nighter offers punk enthusiasts, alternative music fans and curious newcomers a chance to celebrate that spirit together. Expect a night focused on loud music, legendary influences and the enduring excitement of rock performed in front of a live audience.
