Django Django is a British art rock band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2009. The band consists of David Maclean (drums and vocals), Vincent Neff (vocals and guitar), Jimmy Dixon (bass), and Tommy Grace (keyboards).
The band's name, Django Django, was inspired by the Belgian jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Their music is a unique blend of indie rock, electronic, and psychedelic influences, characterized by intricate rhythms, catchy melodies, and layered harmonies.
Django Django gained attention with the release of their self-titled debut album in 2012. The album received critical acclaim and was shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize. It featured the hit single "Default," which garnered widespread popularity for its infectious energy and catchy hooks.

But that's not something new: the band's entire career has essentially been about evading, eluding and growing beyond things: beyond scenes, sounds, expectations, influences, even their own perception of themselves. “We only ever foresaw ourselves being a weird little cult band,” says Northern Irish singer/guitarist Vinny Neff; “with just a core audience. We never thought four albums in we'd be playing big festivals. But it's happened and we've gone with it.”
Over the years, Django Django has continued to release critically acclaimed albums, including "Marble Skies" (2018) and "Glowing in the Dark" (2021). They have built a loyal fan base with their engaging live performances, which showcase their musical versatility and dynamic stage presence.
