I loved James Taylors songs back in the 1070s, but they meant even more to me as an older adult when I found out that like me he has battled with mental health issues. I played his songs a lot as my three daughters (now in their 20s) grew up, and they all love him too, so they were very happy to come with me to see him in concert. There is always a happy atmosphere at a James Taylor concert. I was wary of the size of the arena, spoiling the intimate feel you usually get with an evening with JT but alas it still proved to be a pleasant evening. The band sounded tight, James vocals were good for an artiste of his age and the set provided a good choice of his back catalogue.
