Palace are a London based alternative rock band known for atmospheric guitars, emotionally direct songwriting and the distinctive vocals of frontman Leo Wyndham. Formed in the early 2010s, the band developed an audience through a spacious and melodic sound that draws together indie rock, blues influenced guitar work and introspective songwriting. Their music frequently balances quiet vulnerability with expansive arrangements designed to grow in intensity.
Releases including So Long Forever, Life After and Shoals have helped Palace develop a recognisable identity within modern British alternative music. Songs such as "Live Well", "Bitter" and "Heaven Up There" highlight the band's ability to combine expressive guitar lines with reflective lyrics and sweeping melodies. Their catalogue has continued to evolve while retaining the emotional atmosphere that first attracted listeners to their music.
Palace concerts allow the band's layered sound to expand naturally, with delicate guitar passages developing into powerful crescendos and atmospheric songs gaining additional weight on stage. Wyndham's vocals provide an emotional centre while the band's musicianship creates a spacious and immersive backdrop. For listeners drawn to thoughtful indie rock and songs that move between intimacy and scale, seeing Palace live offers an opportunity to experience their atmospheric sound at its most immediate.
