Simon Brodkin is an English comedian known for his versatile performances both on stage and on television. Born on September 29, 1977, in Camden Town, London, Brodkin attended University College School, Hampstead, before studying medicine at the University of Manchester. After practicing medicine, he transitioned to full-time comedy in 2007.
Performing under various characters, including the cheerful chav Lee Nelson and the unintelligent footballer Jason Bent, Brodkin gained recognition for his interactive stand-up routines. He's also made appearances on television shows like "Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder" and "Lee Nelson's Well Good Show," which he wrote and starred in. Beyond his scripted performances, Brodkin is known for his public pranks, heckling public figures like Sepp Blatter and Donald Trump.
In 2021 and 2022, Brodkin toured with his solo stand-up show "Troublemaker."
