WRKHOUSE are a Welsh alternative band creating atmospheric music that combines electronic textures, powerful rhythms and emotionally charged songwriting. Emerging from North Wales, the group have developed a sound that draws together elements of alternative rock and electronic music, using detailed production and expansive arrangements to create songs with both intimacy and scale. Their approach positions WRKHOUSE among the exciting contemporary acts developing within the Welsh independent music scene.
The band's music is characterised by layered instrumentation, expressive vocals and a strong sense of atmosphere. Electronic elements sit alongside guitars and live rhythms, allowing WRKHOUSE to move between reflective passages and larger, more dramatic moments. This combination gives their songs a cinematic quality while maintaining the directness and emotional connection of a live band.
On stage, WRKHOUSE can bring the scale and detail of their recorded material into a more immediate environment. Building rhythms, atmospheric textures and dynamic changes give their music additional force in concert, while the band's combination of electronic and live instrumentation creates a rich sonic experience. For audiences interested in emerging Welsh music, atmospheric alternative rock and modern electronic influences, a WRKHOUSE concert offers the opportunity to discover a band with an ambitious and evolving sound.
