Accessibility
At the motorpoint Arena Nottingham we do our utmost to ensure that neither by action nor inaction, will any individual or group be reasonably exluded from any activities, facilities or services we offer. We work closely with
charity 'Attitude Is Everything' and 'CredAbility' to ensure that our venue is easily accessible for visitors with mobility and accessibility needs. Please see the below information which may help you when
planning your visit:
Lifts & Wheelchair Access
Lifts operate to all floors within the venue and are wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair. Lift dimensions and key door sizes are shown here.
Hearing Loops
A hearing assistance system is installed within the main arena bowl for customers with hearing difficulties; this is accessed via an infra-red headset available from the Ticketing & Customer Services Office during events. Hearing loops are also installed in our conference suites located on levels 3 and 4 of the venue. For further information please contact our Ticketing & Customer Services Team on 0808 164 4616 or fill out the contact form here
Accessible Toilets & Changing Facilities
Accessible toilet facilities are within easy reach of any location inside the venue, as well as a dedicated Changing Places facility.
Located on Level 3 of our venue and accessible via the main foyer lifts, our Changing Places facility includes the following facilities:
- A mobile height adjustable changing bench
- A ceiling track hoist system to lift people between wheelchairs and the toilet/changing bench
- Enough space to ensure the bench and toilet can be approached from either side
For Health and Safety reasons, we do not provide support slings. Customers are asked to bring their own which should be compatible with the loop system.
This facility is located on Level 3 and is available from 9am to 11pm. During the hours of 9am to 7pm please contact Box Office located on Level 2 before using this facility. During the hours of 9pm to 11pm please contact the nearest member of staff before using this facility. A RADAR key is available upon request.
Stewards located around the venue will help you in finding the nearest toilet from your seat.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue, but please be aware that noise levels can be high during some events. At the time of booking please let our Box Office team know if an assistance dog will be accompanying you to the venue. Please note we do not take responsibility for any assistance dogs and ask that the dog remains with or in sight of the owner.
Disabled Car Parking
A public blue badge holder car park is located next to the Arena on Dean Street. This area is operated by Nottingham City Council on a first come first serve basis and cannot be booked in advance.
For blue badge holders, you can find parking spaces on Barker Gate opposite the venue and on street parking on nearby streets. Other local car parks offer blue badge holder parking and can be found on our Car Parking page.
There is a taxi rank located on Lower Parliament Street which allows taxis to drop off and pick up. The main entrances to the venue can be accessed by using the lift on Lower Parliament Street (located next to the taxi rank) or via Bolero Square situated just off Bellar Gate. Both entrances allow flat floor access and are equipped with automatic opening doors.
