Wheelchair Access
There is level access to the auditorium on East Circus Street and we have a lift providing access to all levels from the main auditorium.
There are two adapted toilets.
Six spaces for wheelchair users are available in the stalls – please book these in advance at the Box Office.
Wheelchair users can buy tickets for half price (max. 2 tickets per person).
Parking for blue badge holders is available
Please ask for further information from the Box Office when booking tickets.
Sign Interpreted and Audio Described performances
Audio-Described and Sign Language Interpreted Performances are indicated in the diary and tickets for these performances can be purchased for half price by patrons requiring theses services (max. 2 tickets per person).

Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs are always welcome: please advise the Box Office when booking.
Captioned Performances
Captioned performances are available for selected performances. In captioning, the words appear on a screen at the same time as they are spoken.
Sennheiser Infrared Enhanced Hearing headsets
For those with partial hearing loss, Sennheiser Infrared Enhanced Hearing headsets are available. Please reserve your headset with the Box Office when booking.

Pay and Display on Picardy Place and Union Place, 24hr NCP car park beneath the Omni Centre.
Level access at the front doors to circle level which is on the ground floor.
Wheelchair spaces on circle level.
Steep stairs only to balcony and stalls levels.
Sennheiser infrared system, receivers for use with or without a hearing aid available from staff.
Accessible toilet on circle level, second disabled toilet down stairs at mezzanine level.
Bar and refreshment kiosk on ground level.

The free car park located next to the PLAYHOUSE has five Blue Badge Holder spaces.
Carers Policy
Carers may receive a free ticket, on the production of a relevant Carer ID/document.
A group booking where carers are required to attend, free tickets will be issued relevant to the group size and needs.
Once an initial booking is made a copy of the carer's ID can be retained by the PLAYHOUSE to allow smoother booking in the future.
Hearing 'T' Loop System.
Please advise when booking if access to the ‘T’ loop system is required. Rows D – M are located within the ‘T’ Loop System.
Assistance Dogs
Guide, hearing and other assistance dogs are welcome. Please be advised that some performances may have loud bangs; we recommend that show content is checked for suitability.
