As you enter through The O2's main entrance and walk along the Entertainment Avenue, you will come across indigO2. We are The O2's smaller, entertainment venue and also known as The O2's little sister! Our modern, glamorous and high tech venue is multi functional and is perfect for any live music, comedy, club night, TV recording or corporate event and has a flexible capacity of 2,400.
Since opening its doors on 2 July 2007, indigO2 has seen four years of great acts and events. A rich variety of artists and shows have taken place here. Legends from The Who, Blondie and Adam Ant, to RnB and hip-hop artists Trey Songz, J Cole, Blackstreet, En Vogue, Timberland, Pitbull and Buster Rhymes, plus pop stars including Peter Andre, Dappy and Jedward, have graced our stage.
Furthermore, indigO2 has played host to a number of exclusive music events, from the Shockwaves NME Awards to the ITV2 Live at indigO2 Series, X-Factor Boot-Camp, Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and not forgetting The Brit Award Nomination shows in February 2010 and 2011.
With its theatre-style downstairs seating and huge balcony area, indigO2 has since branched out into the comedy genre, attracting the likes of Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre, Kevin Smith and the brilliant magicians Penn and Teller in December 2011.
indigO2 is also renowned for its club nights and after show parties. Kiss FM's Kisstory club night has made indigO2 it's home venue and Hedkandi, AWOL Drum & Bass nights, Garage Nation, Kinki Malinki, Choice FM and Radio 1 have also chosen us as their ideal club night destination. The after show parties that have taken place include Prince (holding an after show at indigO2 on every date of his 21 night residency at The O2 arena) back in August 2007, Usher's OMG Tour after show in February 2011, the Black Eyed Pea's The E.N.D May 2012, The War Child Brits after show party in February 2011, Chris Brown and NE-YO in January 2009, and many more.
For our corporate clients, indigO2 is an ideal space owing to its versatility with state of the art lighting and sound, which are designed to meet all the needs for conferences, award dinners, presentations, exhibitions and private parties. In January 2011, The British Comedy Awards was streamed live from indigO2 and we have also held events such as The Institute of Directors Annual Convention and events for HSBC, Barclays, NFL and Sony.
Located in Zone 2, indigO2 has fantastic travel links with just four stops on the Jubilee Line from London Bridge or the Thames Clippers fast and frequent boat service every 20 minutes from all London piers.
