The EVENTIM Seating chart booking allows you to purchase exactly the seats you want for an event at a specific venue. Open the seating plan for an overview of all available seats, then click on the seats you want to select them.

Please note that the EVENTIM Seating chart booking is not available for all events.

General admission

General admission refers to seating or standing areas that are not assigned or reserved, and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a General admission event, you may be quoted section, row and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location. Seating arrangements vary for each event, and there may or may not be seats of any kind available.

Seat or standing ticket subject to availability

This price category mainly comprises seats, although this is not guaranteed. Under certain circumstances, you may receive a standing ticket for the same price. We're sorry, but we cannot guarantee to fulfil specific wishes regarding seating or standing tickets. It is not possible to exchange the tickets you receive.

Currently not available

If an event, price level or ticket type is 'Not currently available' then all tickets in that category have been sold.

EVENTIM makes every effort to obtain more tickets so check our website regularly for updates.

Delivery not available

If the event is taking place a few days after you place your order, the option to have your tickets delivered via Standard mail will no longer be available. Depending on the event it may be possible to collect your tickets at the venue or print your tickets yourself using ticketdirect.

Only single seats available

In your chosen price level there are now only single seats available. Although there may be a large number of seats available they will not be next to each other. It may be possible to book consecutive seats in a different price level or by using the EVENTIM Seating chart booking.

Concessions

Concession tickets are often available, e.g. to students, children and seniors. If purchasing concession priced tickets, proof of entitlement, e.g. a valid student id card, may be requested by the venue.

Travelling By Bus

Gloucester Bus Station is located behind the Guildhall, on the other side of Kings Square, and is a 5 minute walk from the venue. National Express and other coach and bus companies drop off at the bus station. Local buses drop off in Brunswick Road and Clarence Street, both of which are a 5 minute walk from the venue.

Stagecoach Bus passes and bookings for for National Express and Euroline coaches may be made through Gloucester Tourist Information Centre.

Travelling By Train

The train station is also located to the rear of the building, across the road from the bus station, and is a 10 minute walk.

Travelling By Car

If you are driving, Gloucester may be reached from junctions 11, 11A and 12 of the M5 and is signposted from junction 15 on the M4. It is on the A38, A40 and A417.

If you are travelling by car, when you approach Gloucester from the outskirts follow the signs for the City Centre and Railway station (which is in the city centre). Once you near the centre of Gloucester, follow the signs for Short Stay car parking.

The closest car park to Gloucester Guildhall is the Kings Walk (GL1 1EA) multistorey, and parking is free in this after 7pm. Other nearby car parks are The Eastgate Shopping Centre (signposted The Mall - GL1 1PA) multistorey car park, and the surface car parks in Hampden Way (GL1 1SX) and St. Michael's Square (GL1 1HX). Both of these surface car parks have received a 'Park Mark' award from the police, and parking in them is free after 4pm.

Digital displays on the approaches to Gloucester indicate the number of spaces available in some of the city centre car parks, including the nearby Kings Walk and The Mall Eastgate Centre car parks.

There is rooftop access to Gloucester Guildhall from the open-air part of Level 3 of the Kings Walk multi-storey car park. This is at the furthest right of this car park as you enter it. The Kings Walk car park is off Station Road/Market Parade, close to the Bus Station. Follow the signs for the Kings Walk car park. Its postcode is GL1 1EA.

The Hampden Way car park is just off the non-pedestrianised part of Eastgate Street. The St. Michael's Square and The Mall Eastgate Centre car parks are off Brunswick Road. Brunswick Road is closed to most vehicles at its junction with Eastgate Street.

You’ll need to enter it via Parliament Street or Spa Road from Southgate Street/Bristol Road or via Park Road from Trier Way. Follow the signs for The Mall car park.

Facilities for Disabled People

Wheelchair access is available to the box office, cinema, theatre, galleries, cafe bar, and toilets from the lift at our Eastgate Street entrance. We are pleased to offer a FREE ticket to any personal assistant accompanying a disabled person. Please advise the box office in advance if we can do anything to make your visit easier. An induction loop to assist the hard-of-hearing is available in our cinema and theatre.
