Train

Car

We don't recommend driving to the Roundhouse as there’s no parking available for general use and Camden Council has a strict street parking policy across the borough. There are seven spaces for blue badge holders in the car park on Regents Park Road. To book, phone 0844 482 8008. The Roundhouse is outside of the congestion charge zone. If you need to travel through the zone to reach us, the daily charge (currently £8) applies Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm, excluding public holidays. For more information, visit Transport for London.

The Roundhouse building has been redeveloped to be universally welcoming and physically accessible. Our staff are here to enhance your experience. Please let Box Office staff know of your access requirements when you book.

Access to the building

Main entrance: level access through power-assisted doors to Level 0 from Chalk Farm Road.
Car park: ramped access to Level 1 (for car park users only) via Stage Door.
Lifts: lift access to all floors. Main Space: level access on Levels 1 and 2 (Circle).
Studio Theatre: access is gently ramped. Roundhouse Studios: level throughout, and there is a power-assisted internal door to the Studios area adjacent to the Box Office. Please note that due to the nature of our Grade 2* listed building there are a number of narrow corridors in the Studios area.
Bars: level access throughout all bars and to the majority of the Terrace.

Toilets

Accessible toilets are available on all floors – in the foyers on Levels 0, 1 and 2 and in the Main Space on Level 1. And there's an accessible baby changing facility next to the Studio Theatre on Level 0.

Counters

There are lowered counter positions at the Box Office, Cloakroom and Roundhouse Studios reception.

Hearing-impaired patrons

There's an infra-red assisted hearing system in the Main Space and Studio Theatre (headsets freely available on loan from the Box Office) and an induction loop at the Box Office (switch hearing aid to 'T' position). Certain performances will be captioned - for more details please see individual event pages.

Vision-impaired patrons

Certain performances will be audio-described - for more details please see individual event pages.

Wheelchair users

We have a limited number of wheelchair spaces, within seated areas in the Main Space, at performances for which seats are available. Wheelchair spaces in the Studio Theatre are reserved until the scheduled door time, at which point they will be put on general sale if unsold. For standing shows, wheelchair users are free to roam standing areas and asked to make themselves known to the Duty Manager, prior to doors opening, who will arrange priority entry. In the Main Space, there's no raised viewing platform in standing areas – the designated wheelchair positions in the Circle generally offer a better view of the stage. We have two wheelchairs which can be booked for use during your visit by arrangement with the Box Office.

Accessible parking

There are seven spaces for blue badge holders in the car park on Regents Park Road. To book, phone 0844 482 8008.

Internal signage

We're currently working to develop a new building-wide braille and tactile signage and wayfinding scheme.
