Public transport
By train
The nearest train station is Shrewsbury Railway Station, located in the town
centre. The station has good links with Wolverhampton, Birmingham and
Manchester as well as many smaller nearby towns (e.g. Church Stretton,
Craven Arms, Chester, Wellington). The railway station is located within a
10 minute walk from Theatre Severn, utilising Frankwell footbridge adjacent
to the Guildhall and the footway along Smithfield Road.
By Bus
Shrewsbury Bus Station is about a five-minute walk from the theatre site.
In addition bus stops are located at Frankwell Island and on Smithfield Road.
Arriva provides a local bus service around the town and to surrounding
towns and villages.
By road
By Car
Theatre Severn is located next to Frankwell Car Park where charges apply before 6pm only.

Accessibility
People with disabilities
Theatre Severn offers good access for those who are mobility impaired.
All entrances have ramp wheelchair access. There are disabled toilets on
the first, second and third floor and lifts access all floors.
There are a limited number of disabled parking spaces situated in the main Frankwell car park outside the Guildhall. When the Frankwell car park is closed please use the car park opposite the Theatre entrance.
Please note that Frankwell pedestrian bridge is not accessible to wheelchair users or people using pushchairs due to thenumber of steps leading up to the bridge. Access over the Welsh Bridge provides disabled and pushchair access.
