With best seat booking we will automatically choose the best seats available depending on your chosen price level and the number of tickets you require.

Seating chart booking

The EVENTIM Seating chart booking allows you to purchase exactly the seats you want for an event at a specific venue. Open the seating plan for an overview of all available seats, then click on the seats you want to select them.

Please note that the EVENTIM Seating chart booking is not available for all events.

General admission

General admission refers to seating or standing areas that are not assigned or reserved, and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a General admission event, you may be quoted section, row and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location. Seating arrangements vary for each event, and there may or may not be seats of any kind available.

Seat or standing ticket subject to availability

This price category mainly comprises seats, although this is not guaranteed. Under certain circumstances, you may receive a standing ticket for the same price. We're sorry, but we cannot guarantee to fulfil specific wishes regarding seating or standing tickets. It is not possible to exchange the tickets you receive.

Currently not available

If an event, price level or ticket type is 'Not currently available' then all tickets in that category have been sold.

Delivery not available

If the event is taking place a few days after you place your order, the option to have your tickets delivered via Standard mail will no longer be available. Depending on the event it may be possible to collect your tickets at the venue or print your tickets yourself using ticketdirect.

Only single seats available

In your chosen price level there are now only single seats available. Although there may be a large number of seats available they will not be next to each other. It may be possible to book consecutive seats in a different price level or by using the EVENTIM Seating chart booking.

Concessions

Concession tickets are often available, e.g. to students, children and seniors. If purchasing concession priced tickets, proof of entitlement, e.g. a valid student id card, may be requested by the venue.

The First Eventlink 707 service runs from the SECC to the City centre after many concerts and events at the venue.

Coach operators run services to Glasgow's Buchanan Bus Station from throughout the UK.

The 100 Riversider service runs from George Square (north) in Glasgow city centre to the SECC, then Riverside Museum and return, every 30 minutes.

The OVO Hydro is located approximately 1 mile from Glasgow City Centre. Leave the M8 motorway at junction 19 and join the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Westbound on the Expressway (A814) take cut off signposted SECC East. Turn left at traffic signals and take the right lane to access multi-storey parking at the venue. Our postcode for sat-nav is ‘G3 8YW’.

Scotland has an extensive motorway road network. Glasgow is linked to Edinburgh by the M8 and England via the M74. You can reach Stirling via the M80, whilst the M77 connects you to the west coast of Scotland.

We are pleased to announce that a new multi-storey car park at the OVO Hydro, operated by City Parking (Glasgow) LLP, is now open and will be the main parking area used for events at the venue. This facility is located at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW.
