London's OVO Arena, Wembley, is gearing up for a historic opera event with three performances of Verdi’s AIDA in March 2024. Presented by FKP Scorpio, this groundbreaking production promises an unparalleled spectacle, blending modern technology with operatic tradition. The performance, featuring over 250 cast members, brings Ancient Egypt to life through digital projections, innovative staging, puppetry, and choreography.

Performed in Italian with subtitles, the production stars internationally renowned soloists and the 60-piece Hanseatic Symphony Orchestra who perform some of the most heartbreaking and uplifting music ever written. AIDA's tragic narrative unfolds against the backdrop of impending conflict and embedded loyalty, testing emotions and allegiances with tragic consequences.

The grand scale includes a 72 square metre screen, a life-size puppet elephant, 578 stunning costumes, surround sound, and a 692 square metre River Nile flowing into the audience. The venue itself is infused with a custom perfume, enhancing the sensory experience with scents of lotus blossoms, pine trees, spices, and the Nile's waters.

Barry Campbell and James Cassidy of FKP Scorpio Entertainment highlighted the scale unseen since the 1990s, and John Drury of OVO Arena Wembley eagerly welcomed this spectacular return of opera to UK arenas.
