Anthony Locks was born and raised in Jamaica. The love of music and the affinity for fast rhythms was put him in the cradle, as he likes to tell.
As a young man, Anthony Locks was discovered by Iqulah, international ambassador of Reggae & Rastafari movement. Iqulah took him under his wing and the great business started for Anthony: In winter 1995/1996 he toured with Cedella Marley Booker, the mother of Bob Marley and Iqulah two weeks through Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. In the years 2003, 2005 and 2006 he performed at the biggest Reggae Festival in Europe the Summer Jam, as well as the One Race Human Festival, the Africa Fest Nürnberg and more!
Anthony Locks developed his own style that he then perfected as a solo artist. Today, the double German Reggae Awards Winner lives in Germany, 2009 he worked as a producer for the first time on his own record "Cry Freedom". This album does not only show the wide range of the singer, but also his skills as a producer.
Anthony already worked with artists on stage such as Uwe Banton, D-Flame, Jamaica Papa Curvin, Rough House, Schocking Murray, Ganjaman and Yah Meek – as a background singer and an instrumentalist he already supported Samy Deluxe on the "Dis Wo Ich Herkomm" Tour.
