Bellowhead are one of the most acclaimed and electrifying folk ensembles ever to emerge from the UK, celebrated for their bold reinvention of traditional folk music and their exhilarating, genre-blending live performances. Formed in 2004 by Jon Boden and John Spiers, the band quickly became known for its ambitious scale: an 11-piece collective combining fiddles, brass, percussion, melodeon, strings and more to create a thrilling, orchestral folk sound unlike anything else on the contemporary scene.
