With only Scott Gorham left from the original Thin Lizzy line-up, a name change was probably a good idea, but boy, can these guys rock. The standard of musicianship was outrageously good, but they played as a band and were very polished. black star where amazing, dead daises brilliant support band and Western sand are rock of the future, myself and my other half went to two dates, they all made our year. you must go and see.

Black Star Riders showed why they decided to carry on the Lizzy tradition but with the new name.The show was a combination of Riders and Lizzy material which showcased their talents.Ricky Warwick is a great front man with great performances from the rest of the band.Damon Johnson`s guitar playing was simply stunning with Scott Gorham equalling him at all times,although he is arguably the more well known face he does not want to take centre stage and they share the guitar parts equally.Marco Mend...
