Cast is an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 1992 by John Power (vocals, guitar) and Peter Wilkinson (bass, backing vocals), following Power's departure from The La's and Wilkinson's previous band Shack disbanding. Joined by Liam "Skin" Tyson (guitar) and Keith O'Neill (drums) in 1993, Cast emerged during the Britpop era, signing to Polydor Records and achieving commercial success with their debut album "All Change" (1995), which became Polydor's highest-selling debut album. Despite subsequent ups and downs, including a split in 2001, the band reunited in 2010. Their most recent album, "Love Is the Call," released in 2024, sees the trio of Power, Tyson, and O'Neill continuing their musical journey, showcasing a blend of nostalgia and contemporary sound.
