Danny L Harle is a British producer, composer and songwriter known for pushing boundaries between pop, electronic, classical and rave culture. Born Daniel Jack Eisner Harle in London in 1989, he trained in classical music before moving into hyperpop, electronic dance, and concept-driven pop works. His versatility has seen him work with a wide roster of artists while retaining a distinct, energetic voice in his own solo work.
He was a key part of the PC Music collective and has collaborated closely with artists such as Caroline Polachek, Carly Rae Jepsen, Clairo, Rina Sawayama and Lil Data. Danny has also co-written and produced major tracks for global stars. His executive producer role on Polachek’s albums Pang (2019) and Desire, I Want to Turn Into You (2023) earned critical acclaim, and he co-produced Dua Lipa’s chart hit Houdini in 2023. He released his debut album Harlecore in 2021 on Mad Decent, a conceptual rave-inspired record featuring tracks like Boing Beat, On a Mountain, Interlocked and Ocean’s Theme. The album presents an immersive “virtual club” experience across multiple DJ personas, fusing hard dance, rave, ambient, and euphoric pop elements.
His solo singles include Broken Flowers, Super Natural featuring Carly Rae Jepsen, and other works blending glitch pop, hyperpop, and hardcore dance aesthetics. He also writes for soundtracks, film, television and commissions, often bringing his classical roots and experimental instincts into electronic or pop formats. In 2023 Harle produced the album Polari for Olly Alexander and released the track Starlight featuring PinkPantheress, extending his presence in both pop and electronic scenes.
On stage and in studio Danny L Harle is known for his immersive production, dramatic arrangements and high-energy live sets. His work combines cinematic and euphoric sound with dancefloor intensity, exploring contrasts between loud and quiet, complex and accessible, avant-garde and pop. Audiences can expect both spectacle and intimacy in his performances, whether at electronic music festivals or more experimental venues.
In 2025 Danny L Harle continues to tour and release new material. He also plays in various collaborative and remixing roles, keeping him engaged with crossover pop, electronic and rave audiences. His evolving body of work cements him as one of the most forward-looking producers in modern British music.
